Many of Perdido Key's condominiums, restaurants and golf clubs provide banquet facilities, as well as catering services and the perfect menu for your celebration. The community center at the beautiful new Perdido Key Visitors Center is open for banquets, just steps away from a boardwalk leading down to the beach, 850.595.1619. For weddings on the National Park Beaches, you will need a $50 Special Use Permit. Contact the National Park Service at 850.934.2620. No permit is required to use state parks or public beaches. If you wish to have your ceremony on a beach other than those listed, please contact that particular condominium's HOA or Property Management Company, as condos on Perdido Key own their beaches to the water line. There is a three-day waiting period for Florida residents who apply for a marriage license; no waiting period for non-Florida residents. No blood test is required. Be sure to bring your social security number, a photo ID with birth date, and date of previous divorce (if applicable). The marriage license costs approximately $93.50. The clerk's office is in the M.C. Blanchard Judicial Building at 190 Governmental Center in Pensacola, Fla. It's open Mon.-Fri. from 8 am-5 pm. You must arrive before 4:30 pm to have your license issued that day.
