As we head west from the Key, Orange Beach, Ala., is in our sights. Be sure to stop by Merrill Miller's Interiors & Gifts on Canal Road to decorate your home with some island influence. Head toward Foley, Ala., and you will find some very unique spots. Coastal Textile Center at Clara's Loom is definitely one to check off your list. This destination for textile lovers offers yarn, fibers, travel looms and the work of fiber artist, Celia Dionne. Clara's Loom is actually the retail sector of the Coastal Textile Center. There's also a wonderful shop called the Linen Outlet. From high quality bedspreads to lamps to rugs and everything in between, you can find it at the Linen Outlet for a great price! Take a day and explore all that our Alabama friends have to offer. On the Island Across the FL/AL Line If you head east 25 minutes, you will run into downtown Pensacola, which holds marvelous shopping opportunites. But before you reach downtown, enjoy the drive and stop by our local Wal- Mart or Jim's Firearms across the street. Take a load off next door to Jim's and have a relaxing mani/ pedi at T&L Nail Spa. Whether you stroll down Palafox Street or drive over to Cordova Mall, you are sure to find everything you need. A little further down the road, you will find two hidden gems.
